2004 Melis Priorat - Spain, Catalunya, Priorat (6/11/2008)
WIML91?

Tasted June 11, 2008 at an offline.

Opened and served immediately. Crimson color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of saddle soap, lemon grass, ginger and Indian spices. Truly bizarre and totally unexpected from a Red Priorat. Flavors of dark berries and cherries with some added notes of black licorice. Medium acidity. firm tannins, full bodied. Decant if drinking now or continue to hold. (91 pts.)
