$35, Retail.

 

A fine bottle of wine.ÂThere is no rush on this wine, as a matter of fact, I will be holding the remaining 2 bottles.ÂThe next bottle not for @ least 2 years.ÂBut, a fine bottle of wine, long lasting finish & meets, even exceeds expectations all around.ÂA fine representation of its bigger brother (which I also love on most vintages).ÂThough, the price difference is considerable.

 

You can’t go wrong purchasing this bottle.ÂI’ve seen it in the $30-$35 range.

 

Rating: 92/92+?, Parker 93 rated, perhaps it gets there one day.ÂBut, today it is 92 & a hold (or give some air time, 45+ mins)

(A few months back) I tried this wine for the first time this vintage and it was lovely. My wife really enjoyed it as it was not very tannic at all. I found it very fruit forward, slightly, but not overbearingly alchoholic, and very very smooth and drinkable. Drinking great now - perhaps can hold for a while but no need. I may bring a bottle as one of our Thanksgiving wines - I think it would go well with Thanksgiving dinner - its not too heavy - in many ways it is quite pinotish but with a bit more kick. In some ways reminded me of some (good) italian Ripasso ines I've had - with the fruit very up front and the finish quite smooth.
