| | Bright red with a medium plus nose of raspberry, smoke, black cherry and a plethora of oak spice. Medium plus body and intensity with medium acidity. Palate matches, medium tannins present on the lengthy finish. This wine however is hotter than hell. I thought I could breathe fire after having a taste, it was completely unpleasureable. My other complaint is this wine is soul-less. Blind I would never be able to deduct this down to being a Spanish wine. This is a wine of the winemaker and not a wine of any place. 85pts (this may be overly generous) | | | |

| I have had this wine twice and rated it 93 twice. Once blind. I do agree with Jason on the wines identity. I guess it was an aussie blind. I would recomend this to anyone who likes BIG aussie wines though. | | LC17SMP | |
