2005 Bodegas Zabrin Grenache garnacha de fuego - Spain, Calatayud (6/17/2006)
WIML88,PURPLE88,NOWA,NOWS

Tasted June 17, 2006 at a retail tasting. Opened and served immediately in a Riedel Vinum Cabernet Sauvignon glass. Garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of blackberries, a touch of blueberry and a little cocoa. Flavors of blackberries, black licorice and a touch of Bing cherry. Firm tannins with crisp acidity. Drink now with a little time in the decanter. Should drink well over the short term. Based on the local retail price of $8.49 I’d say the value here is recommended. (88 pts.)
