| 60% Grenache, 30% Carignan, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Medium-garnet colour, with smoke, cedar, herbs, cocoa, and dark berry fruit on the nose. Medium-full bodied, very tasty with nice structure. Shows plum, earth, and berry notes on the palate. Needs to open a little more. Moderate finish, 35s, with good length and fruit. 90 points (02/21/2006). | | |

| We had this wine last night at a BYO dinner. I tasted it periodically after decanting and the notes below are from 3 hours after splash decanting.
The wine had a bright floral nose of cherries with a hint of cinnamon. Tart flavors of sour cherries and raspberries melded well with the acidic bite and tannins. This needs time but will likely not ever equal the 2002. 89-91 | | | |
