The wine was tasted 2 hours after splash decanting. It had a beautiful nose of cinnamon and stewed prunes and showed a little heat. On the palate, the wine was clearly tannic and needs years to soften, but the future is bright. Tremendous depth of dark berry and black cherry flavors bodes well. 91-94
