| | The wine was tasted three hours after splash decanting. It had an expansive nose of cedar, baking fruit, and spice. On the palate, the wine was concentrated with copious tannins that softened markedly with time in the decanter. Delicious dark fruit flavors with nuances of coffee and dark chocolate are well-balanced by the acidity and tannins. Excellent now, this is sure to improve. Me 90-92. My wife 89+ | | | |
