| | 1995 Bodegas Julian Chivite Colecciòn 125 Gran Riserva -- from the Navarra region of Spain; looks its age in decanter, clear dark ruby, but smells young and grapey, with lots of vanilla and some spicecake on the nose as well; about medium-weight on the palate, quite silky, blackberry, leather, mineral flavors, very good acidity; quite long finish with fine tannins but plenty of fruit. Around 91-2 pts. Excellent balance, will probably age well. | | | |
