| | Nose of blackberry, cassis, smoke, mineral and kirsch. Fleshy in the mouth with more smoke and kirsch. Balanced with a lot of extraction.* | | | |

| 2002 Bodega Numanthia Termes Toro Termes - Spain, Castilla y León, Toro (1/27/2006) This fine effort is all about the midpalate. Fairly dry on the nose, but flavors gather in the middle with sweet berry fruit, cranberry, cinnamon. Clean and balanced. Finishes with a firm mouthfeel of fruit and fine, grainy tannin, acid and oak. An excellent value. Drink or hold. Looking forward to trying the 03. (90+ pts.) | | | |
