| On a recommendation from my local wine guy, who is getting gathered up in the growing Spanish wine storm (I am not).
Purchased at: Wine Seller, Williamsburg, VA Cost: $38
Color: inky Nose: Berries and spice I couldn't place. Palette: Round plum (blackberry?) and cassis. Nicely balanced, smooth tannins. Mellow finish.
Comments: First Spanish wine I've ever liked. Seemed more like a Cab than anything else, which isn't a bad thing.

| Glad that you liked it, jugger.
Mrs. Doc and I really enjoyed about 1 month ago, but it took 6 hours of decanting to really show then. At that point, we scored it around 93 pts or so. I needs time to settle, and let's see what happens in 5 years.
