PJ Wine to Hold First-Ever Holiday Grand Tasting
>in New York City
>
>PJ Wine, a leading retailer of fine wines and spirits based in upper Manhattan will hold a Grand Tasting at the Puck Building in New York City on Monday, November 17. For the first time ever, PJ Wine is bringing together more than 60 of its top wine purveyors joined by gourmet food suppliers to offer an unparalleled wine tasting opportunity. Consumers can register for the event online at www.pjwine.com.
>
>With representatives from the world over, this unique walk-around tasting will include new releases, old favorites and undiscovered gems. Guests will also experience the ceremonious pouring of Antonio Barbadillo Solear Manzanilla by a Venenciador, an expert wine pourer from Jerez, who will be drawing fresh Manzanilla from a cask specially flown in from Spain for the event.

True connoisseurs can also indulge in one of two exclusive reserve tastings for premier ticket holders. Champagne Expert Bernard Ganter will lead guests through a vertical Dom Perignon tasting of their limited release wines, while Sherry specialist and educator Steve Olson will host a food and wine pairing class on behalf of Sherries from Spain.
>
>Nothing better complements fine wines than gourmet food, so PJ Wine has partnered with top purveyors of upscale foods to offer indulgent samples of everything from artisinal cheeses to foie gras. Food sponsors include The Cleaver Company, Restaurant Solera, Murray's Cheese, D'Artagnan and Cheeses from Spain.
>
Guests who wish to purchase a new favorite wine can take advantage of special case order discounts at the Grand Tasting, and can have their wine delivered in perfect time for holiday entertaining, or they can learn about upcoming specialty cruises-including a Mediterranean wine-lover's cruise in June with PJ Wine-from sponsor Seabourn Yachts.
