| SCHWEET! I'm in.
Details follow:
Greetings, Arguably, the best Australian Import firm in the United States is The Grateful Palate. They are bringing a winemaker tour through Texas and will be visiting Austin. Four of their winemakers will speak at a winemaker dinner at Castle Hill Cafe on Tuesday, Oct 21st. This is a very unusual chance to meet the always fun and edgy Australian winemakers who currently fill the pages of the Wine Spectator and Robert Parker. Joining us for dinner will be Trevor Jones, Sarah Marquis, Robin & Heather Moody of Cape d'Estaing and Wayne Dutschke. The Grateful Palate wines are among the very best, with tremendous extraction, yet wonderfully complete. This is a dinner not to be missed. Unfortunately, Mirabelle was unavailable for the evening, so the dinner will be held at Castle Hill Cafe. Michael Vilim will be at Castle Hill as host for the evening. Please call Castle Hill Cafe at 476-7219 for reservations. Also, take a look at this week's Austin Chronicle. There is a terrific review of Mirabelle as the featured food article and in Wes Marshall's Liquid Assets. Hopefully see you Tuesday at Castle Hill. | If we still lived in Texas, we might have gone. Castle Hill is typically one of the top 10-15 restaurants in Austin. Have fun...
