OUR VERY OWN BASIC WINE CLASS
Thursday nights, October 2, 9, 16, 30 at 7:30 PM; The Madison Hotel, Convent Station, NJ
This class will give you an appreciation and basic knowledge of the world of wines. Unlike many classes that are based on geography, our course is based on grape varietal. Learn about the character of each grape, the flavors of the wine it creates, the vocabulary to describe and evaluate the wine, and its food affinities. Then apply your newly learned benchmarks to wines from regions around the world. The course fee includes all wines (8 per class), text and tuition.

Short, any word on what they will be pouring at the Rhone Ranger Tasting. Sounds intriguing. The Bouchard tasting at the Madison last year was pretty good.

Not sure. If I call over there for any other reason, I'll ask them.

I have been to their Grand Walkaround Tasting in the past and loved it. Great way to try new wines that I'd otherwise never drink. I'd definitely go to that, but the Wine Library grand tasting is a week before!
