Jean-Luc Le Dû, *NOT* an offline

my offsite storage location is having Jean-Luc Le Dû pour the following wines next tuesday. it's $85, but i'll be seeing mr nugent that night, so i can't make it.

for tix: http://www.newyorkwineguild.com/?iVar=6262007

The Following Wines will be Served

1- Domaine de Triennes, Viognier - 2005
Viognier is one of the most aromatic white varietal. It combines floral scents with body and length of taste. A perfect match for cold seafood dishes or sushi .

2- Domaine du Vieux Lazaret, Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc - 2006
This medium bodied white from Southern France pairs well with grilled fish dishes.

3- Tardieu Laurent, Condrieu - 2005
Viognier at its best, this Condrieu is full bodied, very aromatic (white flowers, peach) with a very appealing oiliness on the palate.

4- Jean-Louis Chave, Cotes du Rhône , Mon Coeur - 2005
This is a blend of Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah made in a spicy, round style. Perfect for that grilled steakon the BBQ.

5- Mas de Boislauzon, Châteauneuf-du-Pape - 2005
This Chateauneuf is made in a very traditional style. No new oak here, this wine displays notes of ripe black fruits and Provencal herbs.

6- Jean-Louis Chave, St Joseph Rouge, Offerus - 2004
Tightly wound and spicy, this wine made from 100% Syrah has intense ripe red fruit aromas.

7- Domaine Franck Balthazar, Cornas - 2004
From an ultra-traditional estate, this is the archetypical Cornas: Burly, dense and mouth filling.

8- Jean-Michel Stephan, Cote -Rotie - 2003
This classy offering from the Northern Rhône made from Syrah grapes will age gracefully for years to come. Remember this young winemaker, as he will be a name to watch in the coming years.

YOu could probably buy a bottle of everyone of those wines for not much more than the cost of the event
