Jonathan and Susan Pey have extensive backgrounds in the wine industry that have taken them all over the world, from Europe to Australia and back to California. Jonathan studied in France and has worked for Louis Jadot in Burgundy, Penfolds in Australia, and Robert Mondavi and Sterling in Napa Valley. Susan attended college in Italy and, upon returning to the states to finish her degree, soon began her lengthy career as Wine Director for the Il Fornaio Restaurant Group. This depth of experience on their parts served them well when they decided to establish their own winery.
