I've enjoyed quite a few Ojai Vineyards syrahs and pinots over the years. Adam Tolmach will be at the Wine House in West Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon 4/22 pouring current offerings as well as an attractive (to me at least) selection of prior vintages. Should be fun. $65 includes hors d'oeurves.

I'm really looking forward to it, especially the verticals. Ojai gets surprisingly little mention on wine boards these days; Adam's been making great wine for a long time but isn't the "hot" new kid on the block. I'm a big fan of the Roll Ranch, Melville and Thompson syrahs. Haven't had his White Hawk syrah yet but hear good things. Should be fun!
