Join us Wednesday, December 6th, from 4:30-7:30pm, when we welcome Heidi Barrett, celebrity winemaker, to our Wine Bar. Heidi will present a flight of her fabled La Sirena wines. Though Heidi is famous for having made such heralded wines as Screaming Eagle, Paradigm, Amuse Bouche, Vineyard 29, Grace Family, and Jones Family among others, she is deservedly proud of her own label of La Sirena, meaning â€The Mermaid.†Heidi Barrett grew up in the Napa Valley in a winemaking family. It is often said that winemaking is a combination of science and art - with a scientist-winemaker father and an artist mother perhaps Heidi was destined to become one of California's leading winemakers. With great enthusiasm, a love for what she does, and an incredible wealth of experience, Heidi blends the art and science of winemaking like few can.

I get email from SF for wine sales. I use to get SC emails for wine sales, but now I only get email for the tastings which I post here. I haven't been down there for awhile but I keep hearing that they are having problems. | |
