| Thursday, November 2, 2006, the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa in partnership with ROAR Winery and Pisoni Estate will be hosting a very special Duck Club Wine Dinner. Premier vintners Gary Franscioni and Gary Pisoni will be featuring some of their finest wines paired with Chef James Waller’s American grill cuisine. This is the premier pouring of the 2005 vintage with both Garys’ together, an event that occurs only once a year.
This exclusive Duck Club Wine Dinner will begin with a reception from 6pm to 7pm on the Lower Terrace with passed hors d’oeuvres. From 7pm to 10pm Chef James Waller, Gary Franscioni and Gary Pisoni will be offering a 6-course pairings menu highlighting Monterey County’s finest foods and the superb wines of Franscioni and Pisoni.
In addition to the all inclusive evening dinner for $125 per person, the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa will be offering a special room rate for the evening of $195 for an inland view room and $295 for an ocean view room. A special “room available block” has been set up in Reservations under “The Garys’ Wine Dinner”.
Reservations may be made by calling The Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa at (831) 646-1706 and ask for the Garys’ Wine Dinner on November 2, 2006. Please see attached menu.
We hope to see you there.
Regards, Gary and Gary
