The Wine Spectator Wine Experience events are always flawlessly executed and very interesting. Distinguished winemakers and winery owners from around the world participate and even pour their own wines at the Grand Tastings. One can talk to them easily and they are usually most friendly and accomodating.

There are always some great tastings on the agenda. I think this year's California Cult tasting should be terrific. And finally the best event is the lunch in which Emeril LaGasse, Mario Batali, Wolfgang Puck and Charlie Trotter each cook. It's delicious and lots of fun.

I plan on being there...it is my sixth in a row.

I am most likely going.

I will be going as well. I've only been once but it was a super event. Some wineries even poured older vintages. In Chicago, Randy Dunn poured the 1995 Howell Mountain, as an example. A great opportunity to taste lots of good wine.
