We missed you. The three of us got stuck having to drink 5 1/2 bottles ourselves. We sure could have used your help.
LOL, sounds like you managed to do pretty well. What was the Burg swill? I also would have liked to check out Fringale. I made the mistake(?) of reading my email from work and needed to get something done by the end of the day (assumed it might be difficult afterwards).

| Sounds like fine swill, albeit young.

| | Way too young, but showing a LOT of promise. 2002 was a fine Burgundy vintage. | | http://www.sweetandsourspectator.org | |

| | Somebody has to taste it at this age to be able to estimate when it will be mature enough to drink. Such sacrifice; it was the least we could do. | | | |

| | 45 posts and no comments on the wines at the tasting. Did you see Terry? Hiram Simon (the middleman and gatekeeper)? Did anyone mention PC to Terry or Hiram? | | | |

| There were dozens of wines; too many to list really. I can say that I did not like any of the Austrian dry wines at all. As for the German Rieslings they were all wonderful; so much in fact it was very difficult to pick out which was better than the next. I do remember picking a favorite but I'll have to find the list and look it up. I'll try and find the time to list all of them but typing them in with all the "wierd" spelling is difficult.
Yes, Terry was there. I don't know about anyone else. I did get to talk to him for a couple of minutes. Amongst other things I asked him what his favorite glass to drink Riesling from was. He said his first choice is the Spiegelau digestif (sp?) glass.
