K&L Price is *always* TBA. I've never actually been. How much do they typically charge?
Is it a loss leader like TWC or is it more like Beltramos?

Hi David,

We've been very few times to the K&L tastings but their prices seem to me to be more like Beltramos than TWC. They tend to end too early for us as we seem to get there (SF) as they are closing the tasting. That also happened to us at the SF TWC a few weeks ago. Person in charge was harsh- I think they get to bring the unused wine home afterwards...

K&L (in RC) often will have someting open and ask if you'd like a taste if you linger long enough and have a few bottles in your basket...

Still waiting for TWC to post their January newsletter with tasting schedules... Maybe by Feb... and maybe I'll pay more attention to posted hours.

Not that we need to buy wine from other than winery direct mailing lists...

I don't think I've ever paid more than $20-30 at K&L. At K&L you have to purchase the entire flight. I haven't been to Beltramo's for a Sat tasting in awhile, but the last time that I was there, you could pick and choose what you wanted to taste and be charged accordingly.

That Vogue tasting would really be something. Trying a Vogue Musigny would be pretty high on my list.
