SPECIAL EVENT PINNACLES OF PINOT: GARY PISONI @ VWM Saturday, April 23, 2005, 6:00 pm, $35.00 - CLUB MEMBERS: $30.00 (limit 2) From Wine Spectator to Robert Parker, Gary Pisoni is on everyone’s short list of “Hottest Growers in California.” Gary has been described as “Burgundian-crazy.” How else could you explain planting wine grapes in the Santa Lucia Highlands before finding a source of water? He was convinced the mountainous site was an ideal location for Burgundian varieties. Three years and five dry wells later, he finally hit water and continued to plant small blocks of Pinot Noir on the property acquired in 1979 by his parents, Jane and Eddie Pisoni. His quest to produce fine Pinot Noir has involved passion, hard work and three generations of family members.Gary Pisoni has left an indeliable mark on the California wine industry and on all of our lives at the VWM. He will make another guest appearance at the VWM to show the latest releases from Lucia.
2003 Lucia Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands $37.99 2003 Lucia Pinot Noir, Gary’s Vineyard $44.99 2003 Lucia Chardonnay $35.99 2003 Lucia Syrah $39.99 2003 Pisoni Pinot Noir Pisoni $64.99 | | |

| Man, I'm envious of you all....instead of joining in the festivities, I apparently would rather be doing a travel agent trade show in Norfolk, Virginia, where I can guarantee that the meal will consist of rubber chicken, cold vegetables and an overdone potato.
