I haven't looked at my calendar yet but this might be fun to put together a VinoCellar table. Jones Family will be pouring so I assume Dan will be there.

San Francisco Wine Auction

April 29, 2005

Westin St. Francis Hotel

World class wine tasting, exciting live and silent auctions, and a sumptuous dinner prepared by celebrity chef Michael Mina – all in support of Bay Area children in need.

All proceeds of this charitable event go to the Guardsmen General Fund to support indoor and outdoor educational programs for disadvantaged Bay Area youth.

Individual tickets:
$250 in advance,
$300 at the door (if available)

Sponsored tables:
$4000 and $10,000

You are right we will be there. The Guardsman do a lot of good for the community and the tasting looks like it should be one of the best. If you attend/get a table together I will see what I can do about getting the table some special attention

I thought about this, but the only wineries I find interesting are Jones, Frias and Revana. Karl Lawrence is somewhat interesting. I respect Joseph Phelps a great deal, but don't think they are worth a $250 trip.

I'm going to be pouring the 2002 tonight so if anyone is attending the auction please stop by the table and I'll make sure I give you a big pour.
