I saw a mention of Pisoni Weekend IV in some threads over on eBob. I haven't seen any "official" information, but the Inn at the Pinnacles web site says the dates are 27-29 May. Any one here have more information ?

Personally, I hope these dates are NOT correct. My middle daughter graduates from high school on the 26th, and I'll have family here all weekend. Not the best time to fly to CA for a weekend of great eating and drinking ...

I believe those dates are corect scottj. I've got my room at the Inn again (the small room with the Shower and double bed).

Yep, I've already spoken with Jan Brosseau about this and have already reserved my room from last year as well.

Spoke with Adam Lee yesterday and he also confirmed the dates. It was disappointing to learn that he won't be making it this year. I've also heard from Ed Kurtzman that he likely can't make it either. Won't be the same with two of the "Pinot All Stars" missing! Just means that Andrew needs to pick up the slack!

Hey Brian...in case you are reading this....I suggest inviting Dan Kosta and Michael Browne!

Hasn't been on a holiday weekend yet. In fact normally is not a term I've heard associated with Pisoni weekend at all

Indeed the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend is it. Best suggestion I have is to make your reservatons asap at the Best Western in Solidad (The Inn at the Pinnacles is sold out).

It was either this weekend (Memorial Day) or sometime in August or later (or not at all). Finding an open date for both Pisoni and The Inn was the problem.

Jan atThe Inn at the Pinnacles will be taking reservations for the event (but not for accomadations). I know a month ago she didn't have the final prices but she might have them now. If you want to go you should call her. The official announcement has not been made yet but I'm sure she will at least take your name and let you know when to check back.

No price yet for the event. Rooms still available at the Best Western, although there are concerns it will fill up soon.

Just got an email from Kimberly. There are only a dozen spots left. If you want to go you gotta act now!

I didn't realize they were limiting the numbers. How many people are they going to have this year? Any idea David?

They are "trying" to hold it at 60 people (plus the ITB group). The limiting factor is the number of people that can be accommadated for the dinners at the Inn.

I just received an e-mail from Brian indicating that he thinks the price will be $300 each.

That sounds about right but I would not count on what Brian tells you; afterall he is a rocket scientist. You need to get it from the gal with the DA .

That price will not include lodging.

It sounds like 48 people, including several here, have already signed up for this. How did you hear about it ? As I said, the first I saw was some mentions over on eBob the past day or two. Did I miss some announcement ?

scott,

I think it was a rumor that turned out to be true and everyone acted like it was a gold-rush and jumped on it immediately. I knew several weeks ago they were thinking about Memorial Day weekend but I didn't know it was set in stone until about a week ago.

Smoke signals maybe?

I hope that the original core of revelers that have attended I, II, and III didn't get bumped.

We've done our best to make sure that doesn't happen.

I can tell you that I am all signed up. Tricia will not be coming this year.
She will be at a reunion in Kansas City, MO with her two sisters so I'll need some extra "looking-after" .

Skwid is also confirmed.

And Dr/Mrs BoilerMaker who were with us last year are also confirmed.
