Now here is something to think about.

Every year Yosemite National Park hosts these "Vintners' Holidays" events: Eight different two or three day sessions. Biggest problem is deciding which one(s) to attend. The one that interests me is the 12/8-9 (session VIII) with a tasting seminar with Bob Foley.

The Duchess and I were close to doing this the year we moved to Oregon. Now that we're moving back down here I think we'll look at it again, but not this year - too much moving stuff going on.
