Every year during the first two weekends in April, the El Dorado Winery Association has its annual Passport Weekends. We have attended for the last several years in a row and it is quite fun. For those of you with an affinity for Sierra Foothills wines will not be disappointed. For more info, I have provided a link...

Every year during the first and second weekends of April, the El Dorado Winery Association holds its annual Passport Weekend. The Passports are $50.00 per person and gives you unfettered access to all of the association’s member wineries. You get two days (Sat. and Sun. on one of the two weekends offered) to hit as many of the wineries as you can. They offer barrel tasting, new releases, futures, plenty of gourmet food and lots of fun. Here are the wineries we visited and a list of wines tasted. I will post food and TNs when my head clears…
