I'm impressed with any cruise ship than can make it to Florence. Maybe its one of those boats with wheels. Or maybe they've widened the Arno -- a lot.

OK smart ass. It docks at Livorno and then everyone hitch-hikes to Florence.

Same with Rome. You dock in Civitecchia (you pronouncy "civi" like "chevy").

Patricia has mentioned these to me in the past--not this one in particular though. I just don't find cruises to be exciting regardless of the ports or destinations. I guess they are not my cup of wine

There are quite a few "wine" cruises coming about now. I think its a wonderful trend. Next year I have to take the family to Europe.. We will most likely do a cruise part of the time. A wine cruise would be my vote
