Spanish Wine Festival 2004
To Benefit City Harvest
Join PJ Wine for the top summer wine event of 2004! On Tuesday, June 29 PJ Wine will sponsor "Spanish Wine Festival 2004 To Benefit City Harvest" in New York City. It will feature well over 100 of the top Spanish selections from every major wine region of Spain, including such classics as Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Priorat and Sherry and hot emerging regions like Toro, Bierzo, Jumilla and more.
Highlights will include,
Vega Sicilia Unico, Pingus, Pesquera Gran Reserva, Mauro Terreus, ’82 Muga Gran Reserva, Remirez de Ganuza, Lopez de Heredia Viña Bosconia, Artadi El Pison, Alvaro Palacios L’Ermita, Clos Erasmus, Clos Martinet, Numanthia and Termanthia. The tasting will take place in the dramatic and richly historical setting of "Landmark on the Park," a Universalist Church built in 1897, located across from Central Park at 76th Street on Central Park West.
PJ Wine has a national reputation for Spanish wines. Wine for Dummies calls PJ’s one of "the top retailers in the country for Spanish wines." This reputation has been built over years of tasting, travel, and commitment to uncover and bring home the very best of Spain. The PJ Wine team tastes hundreds of Spanish wines every year, and this is the first time so many of their most highly rated Spanish wines will be showcased at one time. Tapas and a selection of fine cheeses will be served at the event, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit City Harvest, the world's oldest and New York’s only food rescue program dedicated to feeding New York’s hungry men, women and children.

PJ Wine is very proud to support City Harvest, whose efforts are a profound service to New Yorkers. City Harvest is the world’s oldest food rescue organization dedicated to feeding New York’s hungry men, women and children. City Harvest collected over 21 million pounds of food last year from all segments of the food industry and delivered it free of charge to more than 800 community programs throughout New York City. Each week, City Harvest helps some 200,000 hungry New Yorkers find their next meal.
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be made if notice of cancellation is received by the end of business hours, June 26. Registrants who do not cancel by June 26 or do not attend are liable for the entire registration fee. Substitute registrants will be accepted.
