Anyone have it? This weekend I had it for the second time, and it's awful. Started Thurs. with some dizziness swooshing through my head. By Sat. afternoon, I was ready to pass out.

Does anyone know how to stop it before it gets full blown?

There can be different causes. You might try googling benign positional vertigo and looking for info on a couple maneuvers (Epley and Semont) intended to help reposition your otoliths.

Before "googling" it, see a doctor who understands the disorder, perhaps an ENT doc. Self treatment and diagnosis can be dangerous. Taking "medical" advice from these contributions can also be dangerous. Your vertigo's causes can range from inner ear infections to brain tumors and aneurysms, so I wouldn't mess with it on my own.\

Do get yourself to your vet.

BTW, it is a great flick also.

It's a great flick but a terrible feeling.

Me mum's had a rough time with it as has jpak. Definitely see a doc, and try getting hit upside the head by a pro. It can work.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is .ps - friends don't let friends eat farmed salmon.

I agree he should see a doctor and my suggestion was not intended to be a replacement.

yes, see a doctor, but I've found that Dramamine is a wonder drug for me.

It has helped with mild vertigo before and even morese with migraines.

ask your doctor if a simple, over-the-counter, solution like that would work for you.
