Ahh, the dangers of getting your news from the headlines!!! $11.2 million was actually his total compensation for 2007.

That is funny. I actually looked at the same site yesterday but they did not have the extra information from the SEC filing at that point, only the headline. I wasn't about to check out the actual SEC filing. LOL.

David, good luck with your gambling. Wish we could have joined you guys there.

Bob,

Congrats on the wedding!  Carol's mom married her med school sweetheart (50 years removed) three years ago at the age of 74 ... I guess she didn't have to rush it, as your mom proved that you can wait longer if you choose.

Cheers, y'all

Off to NYC with two kids under 5! Whooohooo!

Update - staying at the Millenium.  Got a steal at $205 a night, but man it's a bear to get to with all the construction and streets closed down.  Newark has fixed price taxi fares, and you can pay in advance with credit card now!  People walking around in scarves and trenches like it's the middle of winter; apparently I stand out in shorts and sandals.  What's up with that?

Greetings from the Masters in Augusta and the best pimiento cheese sandwiches in the world.

A friend's son won the last slot in Houston PGA and now has accomplished an incredible goal. He made his way to the finals today at the Master's  but alas did not end up in the top 16;  has to do it all again next year.

I'm game. Freebie's to the Masters? What's not to love.

This place is so serene and lovely,  I may just stay right here and wait for him to come back!

Did I mention the sandwiches?

Revenge of the Kids....they would prefer to be watching Sponge Bob and not learning about Spanish architecture?

Olderst (4.5 yrs) is fine looking at buildings and running around; it's the rest of the soap opera that's a pain. 4 suitcases, a port-a-crib, car booster seat, backpacks filled with goodies and toys for the kids and a laptop bag.

Worst part about Barcelona is always the smoking. Most of the best hole in the wall tapas places are like chimneys with barstools.

Thank goodness there are still a few civilized nations left on this planet.

After finishing a fun (in a masochistic sense) week in Anaheim, just made my way to Caldwell Kansas. Great Grandma's 100th Birthday celebration, if I could ever be so lucky. She is still there mentally and physically, lives by herself, still drives etc.
