JonesWineNo1: Please start this thread up over here. I really miss when you used to post these on the other forum. THANKS!

And to start things off, my Grandfather just LOVES Caesar's. What are your thoughts?

Caesar's? That doesn't ring a bell (although that doesn't mean anything since I am becoming more and more convinced I am suffering from an early on set of Alzheimers at my ripe old age of 35 - gasp). I am hoping that the powers that be here at vinocellar will allow me to link my newsletter here on the forums. Believe it or not the first issue is basically done.

Thanks Brent. I feel a little less like an idiot now. I basically never go to Fisherman's Wharf for any reason thus my knowledge gap.

Every time we go to Napa, we 1st stop @ Fisherman's Wharf to get some Crabs. Then, off to the Mother Land.

Very touristy, isn't it?

...But I LOVE those Crabs...

You are right LCC. It is packed with tourists and for someone who lives in the City there just anything in that area that you need to go to - and you sure don't want to drive through it. That part of the City is just completely ceded to the tourists (nothing wrong with that please everyone come to San Francisco and spend lots of money especially in its restaurants ... just don't park in Pacific Heights, thank you)

Is it technically possible to link an acrobat file to this site with the software all of you are using, LCC?

Jones -

I know I'm not LCC, but I'll pipe in with this. You can do a URL link from any posting, so if you can place it out on the web somewhere you can link to it easily using this feature. If you need a place on the web to park it I could upload to my web space, just let me know.

So Jones, when do we get to read some more of your SF dining impressions?

And for the rest of you lucky bastards that live in the Bay area, you could chime in too! I want to make a list for the next time I am out there (after I recover from Italy).

Lucky Bastards? Have you seen the price of real estate out here? If so you wouldn't be calling us "lucky". We do have lots of nice restaurants though

Skwid, LOL. True, true, true. But you still live in one gorgeous section of this fine country, and I am green with envy
