Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Thai food. I don't know if the Lotus of Siam has been talked about much over here. It is easily one of the best restaurants of any type anywhere in the US. Everytime I come back home, I try to eat Pittsburgh Thai food, and it makes me want to gag. The Thai restaurants around here are really, really bad. Well, not anymore. There is a new Thai place in Pittsburgh- just opened three weeks ago. They are still trying to figure out their menu- still refining it. However- the food we had tonight was very good to excellent. Not as good as the LOS by any stretch of the imagination, but a very fine restaurant. It is called the Thai Food Kitchen. It is on Liberty Avenue basically across the street from Dells. No corkage fee. None. Most entrees are price under $7. The basil chicken was unquie and great. They also have pho, and that was good as well. All in all- gotts check this place out.
BTW- I have no affiliation with this restaurant- just really liked it.
