| | A very good friend of mine is heading off to Florida on Christmas for a little more than two weeks and needs some advice on where to eat. He will be splitting his time between South Beach and Ft. Lauderdale and wants some highly recommended dining advice. He is as much of a wine geek as I am so quality wine lists are a must. Please give me multiple recs. because they will be there awhile. Thanks in advance. | |

| Chef Allen's in Aventura is excellent. Haven't been there in about 5 years, but very well done.

| | I'm down here now, but 40 miles north of your friends. We're having dinner with the Rothko's this Friday at The River House. If your friends want to come up this far north, Cafe Chardonnay and Off the Vine are our favorite restaurants in Florida. They're located in Palm Beach Gardens on PGA Boulevard a little west of I95. | | | |
