Not a thing wrong with fat! Like Emeril, I'm a fan of butter!
I just try to consciously exclude as much fats and carbs from my diet as possible - there's so much of it hidden in processed foods. I've even been tempted by the macrobiotic thing, but, like I said, I like butter too much.
And as you can tell from my avatar, I'm loosing the Battle of the Bulge, so to speak.

| well, true. Processed foods are so processed. I try to not eat too much of that (processed foods), but sometimes, as you probably agree, it is hard to avoid. You know, when you come home, tired and beat, and you just want something quick to eat and doesn't require one iota of a thought.....

I have a variety of ways to commute home, and, depending on my mood (and Mrs. TJ's) I can take any one of a number of these routes to stop by the appropriate place that our stomachs are telling us to go to.
Hunan Manor is one (best Chinese food in the MD burbs)
Tattoria Pizzeria is another (real Italians making real incredible pizza) | |
