Shafergirl and I leave tomorrow on our 14th anniversary to spend a week in the Russian River Valley. I'll report back.

For our 14th Anniversary we went to Russian River for a week. We went to: Day #1(Nov. 3) Flew into SFO and drove to Healdsburg. Hotel-Honor Mansion in Healdsburg Dinner @ Madrona Manor in Healdsburg Wine with dinner: N.V.Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Brut 2005 Holdredge-Wren Hop Pinot Day #2(Nov. 4) Tasting at Peay Winery Met with Andy Peay at his winery in Cloverdale. Also met Vanessa Wong. We tasted 6 different Syrah clones from the barrel with Andy. Andy then opened a bottle of 2006 Peay-Scallop Shelf Pinot. Tour and Tasting at Rafanelli Winery Met with Dave, Patty and Stacy Rafanelli Tasted: 2005 Rafanelli Zin 2004 Rafanelli Merlot 2004 Rafanelli Cab Dave then took us on a tour of his caves.
