I have arranged a family trip to Napa during the third week of June, bringing the wife and the two boys (ages 4 and 2).  I'm staying in St. Helena near Dean & Deluca.

Since the standard winery crawl won't work with the kids, I was hoping for any suggestions:

1.  Any wineries that would be kid friendly?

2.  Any restaurants that are kid friendly?

3.  Any locations/spots for picnics that are recommended?

Since the goal is just to relax and take in the change of scenery (since we live in Las Vegas and since I just broke the bank during Spring Mailer Hell), I don't mind keeping it simple.

Any thoughts would be great.

We were just there a month ago.

1) We made and kept appointments at Lewelling and Neal.  When I requested an appointment, I informed them we had the twin 4 year old boys with us and Grandma to help watch them.  Both places were ok with that.  The tasting at Lewelling is great with kids.  We tasted in their backyard on a picnic table.  The boys were being boys running around the yard.   Neal happened to have a basketball hoop out that kept the boys busy.  If the Richardson's at Paloma would have been available, they were going to allow us to bring the boys.

2) Every place we went to was kid friendly.

3)  I had an afternoon appointment at Pride for a picnic but we had to get the boys their nap.

Last summer on a trip to Sonoma we went to Safari West and it was worthwhile.

We were going to do the Sterling tram, but it was not functioning.  They were still going to charge the standard tasting fee per person and bus people up to the top.  We said no thanks.

V Sattui built a Castle somewhere near Calistoga, but it was not open while we were there.  You could call them for more info.
