| This is one of my favorite restaurants in LV mostly because of the service and fun atmosphere. The service isn't pretentious; you can have a good time.
Great steaks; that is what they have.
Expensive wine list. You might call to see if you can BYO. I'm sure they would let you bring a couple of bottles. Corkage will probably be $35 so take something nice. Just ask first.

| Davidn, I fully expect the wine to be expensive , but what did you think of the list? was it strong in cali cabs or washington cabs? how about aged bdx? anyhelp would be great. i am trying to avoid bringing wine with me from across the country. | | | |

| anthony,
I really can't remember. I have always BYO. They do have a Wine Spectator Award for whatever that is worth. I know they are a good customer of Testarossa Wine here in Los Gatos too.
Call them and ask: (702)414-3737

| When I was there last summer I was unfortunately less fluent in wine. We ordered a half-bottle of Puligny-Montrachet and a glass or two of decent Cal Cab. A bit too fuzzy to recall the details (it was my honeymoon....)
Service was helpful and crisp. We actually got pretty friendly with the waitress by the end of the night. My wife was in the biz at the time and we all just hit it off.
Food was excellent. You will definitely not be disappointed!
Have you tried asking them to fax over a copy of the wine list?

| Some forward thinking restaurants will actually post their winelists on their website, or even make them downloadable pdf files... | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com | |

| If you ask they might actually fax the list to you. While making a reservation, I asked the Inn at Little Washington about wines on their list that were under $100. The woman on the phone offered to fax me that part of their list. Two hours later, I had it. | | | |

| Delmonico's has a fairly diverse wine list however, it is heavily California '97 through '99. Also has a respectable showing of WA and Oregon wine. Delmonico's is always a great dining event and does not disappoint. I have stated in the past LaMont is a great server but I have never had a bad experience with anyone on the waitstaff. Hope you have a great evening! | | | |

| just got back from vegas and now my 3rd trip to delmonico. can this restaurant get any better? this time i decided to byob. the corkage is $20, very good by las vegas standards. i brought a 96 dalla valle cab. the wait staff treated me just as if i bought from their list. they allowed me to bring the wine early and have it down to cellar temperature by the time dinner started. the food was awesome as usual. this is one place where 30% tip is deserving. anyone who travels to las vegas and doesn't eat here should have their head checked out | | | |

| My wife and I ate here the other night for my birthday. We've heard alot of good things about it and it lived up to the hype. The service was professional, friendly and comfortable. We brought a bottle ofl 2004 Tensley Wine Co. Syrah - Colson Canyon Vyd. . We offered a taste to the sommelier, a very young looking Paul, who liked it. Paul mentioned he recently discovered some Bonaccorsi Wine Co. pinots in the cellar that are not on the wine list. He passed on a juicy rumor about a pinot vineyard, but I really didn't believe it. Shortly after we were seated, they brought over a 'gift' from the Chef. A bruschetta of prime rib/spinach with a spicy chipolte sauce. We had the Caesar's salad for 2 prepared tableside. My wife ordered the filet mignon and I had the largest 'petite' rib-eye steak ever served. The food was very good and we're already looking forward to our next visit. | | | |

| Come on now... You can't say "juicy rumor" and not tell us what it is. Is it about Ben?
Paul is a big big fan of Gemstone.

| I was frustrated by the fact that at 6 weeks out, I couldn't get a reservation (online) for a time anywhere near when I wanted. I don't care how good the steak is, I'm eating elsewhere when I go (Bouchon and Eiffel Tower). | | | Visit The Butcher Block at http://www.butcherblocktampa.com/ | |
