A group of us will be travelling to Green Bay in November. Can anyone recommend a good steakhouse near the down town core. Nothing too ritzy, seeing as we will be there to catch the football game. T.I.A.

andrew - I'll be driving all around Wisconsin (inc Green Bay) in 3 weeks. Will report back after the trip.

It's on Brett Favre Pass just off Holmgren Way which crosses Lombardi Avenue (lots of Packer names). I wasn't expecting a whole lot but the steaks and prime rib there were very good. I just returned from a trip to New York City and the steak prices at Favre's are half that of NYC's.

Could try Hinterland. My sister lives in the area and mentioned it. It is on WS's listing of restaurants. Brett Favre's restaurant could get crowded on a game weekend.

Someone also said check out Texas Roadhouse. Not sure where in G.B. its located.
