Edward, I have been to Cancun 2X: once for Spring Break (g-d knows that I did not go there to seek out fine dining @ that time
) & once on vacation. And, I have been to Riviera Maya (the other side of Cancun). I know you are going there on biz, so it's not like you can choose. But, I prefer Riviera Maya (the hotels & the food). In either case, the dining is good/average @ best (from my experience).
All I am saying is not to expect too much...
Ohh, & I recommend NOT to take some local airline/charter (i.e. Air Aruba or Air Cancun & such...). I flew Air Aruba once & that's the closest I ever got to meeting my maker. And, experiencing a 4 hour flight with no A/C.
