Would appreciate any suggestions for a nice place in Manhattan that is reasonable prices (i.e. main dish about $15.00-$20.00). Thanks.

Try Casimir in Alphabet City. Ave B between 6th and 7th. Great little French Bistro. Steak frites are excellent. When mrs. jb and I go, it's usually under $100 for dinner with a bottle of wine included.

Or try Kitchen 22 on 22nd St. between Park and Broadway. Excellent 3 course menu for $25. All wines on the list are either $25 or $35. Can't go wrong there.

Or for a bit more $, you can go to Freud's place, Triomphe. Food will be a little bit more $, BUT you can bring you own bottle if you mention Freud when making a reservation. PM me and I'll give you his name if you don't remember.

Have fun.

Bistrot Margot on Prince Street. Ask to sit out back in the garden. Inexpensive and good.
