Stemor - Any suggestions for dining? Where is the nearest airport? How close is it to Elvisland, and do you guys have any interest in an offline if not too far away. I will be there on business next week and the week after.

Union City is about 110 miles from Memphis and Memphis is probably the closest real airport. If I were eating there I would stick to Wendy's or McDonald's. There are probably several of us that could get together in Memphis.

There is a place that has been written up as a pretty good restaurant. I have never been there. It is called the White House and it is at Troy TN (in between Dyersburg and Union City-about 15-20 miles from Union City). They do not serve wine but you can probably bring your own (you may have to drink it out of a water glass though). Hope this helps a speck. Union City is not a hot spot.

SG - Thanks - I expected as much. Hey, I've done work in Tullahoma as well. I was hoping it would be closer than 110 miles to Graceland.

If it helps any ... we're in the eastern suburbs. So, only 100 miles to Germantown!

I am thinking about lodging somewhere near the Memphis airport next Thurday evening. Any availability for an offline or do you have any restaurant recs?
