What's a "buttload"?

Never hear this before.
Is it like a "boatload"?

Calistoga Ranch has likely dethroned Amadeus as the most upscale spa in Calistoga.

I just remembered that too JW1.

They have a great "day" deal that includes a room.

We need the details from Mr. Bressler.

Wow that place looks pretty swanky. The Calistoga Cure looks particularly decadent.

We've never stayed there obviously but friends often do when there is too many people at the vineyard (Calistoga Ranch is a couple of miles north of Jones). Its quite expensive but a very nice rather unusual experience.

Amadeus isn't in Calistoga. I guess I worded that post poorly. What I meant is that Amadeus is more upscale than Indian Springs, Lavendar Hill, Golden Haven, etc. Not that it's the MOST upscale spa in the valley (certainly not) but it's better than most. I have not been to Calistoga Ranch but if you and the Bresslers recommend it I'm sure it's wonderful.

I guess Amadeus is a good "QPR" spa. It's nice but won't break the bank.

A quantity so massive it could fill your butt.

North of Jones? I just figured I'm not talking about Calistoga Ranch (although I agree it is a very nice place to stay if you like living in trailers; very fancy trailers).

I was thinking of theCarneros Inn . They are the ones with the day-spa room deal. They are south of Jones. Actually it is pretty much south of everything.

Any updates in the past few years ? My wife is planning a spa visit for 7 ladies (while we husbands continue with the winery visits) and is looking at the various Calistoga spas. Her thoughts are a couple of hour visit, with bath, massage, and maybe facial or *-icure. Calistoga Ranch looks great on its web site, but seems to be pricey in comparison with the other properties. Any suggestions ?

Thanks,
Scott

I'd still look at The Carneros Inn.
