Does anyone know of a good '99 wine that I can age and drink with my daughter when she is 21(16 years from now.)

I am sure there are many others, but my experience is limited.

1999 wasn't a great year in Bordeaux and the wines probably won't have really long life. I'd suggest the following wines which you should be able to find for $100 or less:

Chateau Montelena Estate
Joseph Phelps Insignia ($90 to $100)
Ridge Monte Bello (might cost a bit over $100)
Quilceda Creek (unfortunately this might be difficult to find but is a great wine)
Montrose (bordeaux estate which typically last ages a long time and is under $50)

The wines LCC listed are very nice wines but probably out of your budget (they all exceed $100, some quite easily).

too bad you couldn't go with the 00 vintage in bordeaux. you could probably still pick up some pichon baron for less than $100. as far as 99 goes in bordeaux if you are willing to go left bank you can still pick up some pavie for under $100 and it should last the long haul.

likie others have said the real key would be cali for 99's that will age. insignia can be had for around $85 easily and that will surely last. also dunn howell mtn would def. work. some other 99's i think will age and under $100, that i have are:

dominus
cinq cepages
mondavi reserve
pine ridge sld

imo these wines are not as good as the others though.

Okay- 99's that will age on top of what wa said above.

99 Amarone's will go very well, although not such a ripe vintage for them, as will most IGTs out of Tuscany.
Piedmont had a stunning year but the Barolo's tend to eb quite expensive.

I am not sure of prices Stateside but some names you could look for that would be worth considering-

Vigneto di Monte Lodoletta Ammarone 99
Brolo di Campofiorin Rosso del Veronesse 99 IGT (Ripasso wine)

Sant Stefano di Neive Barberesco Riserve 99
Monprivato Barolo 99
5 Stelle Valtellina Sfursat 99 (this will go about 10 years fairly happily)

Il Poggio Chianti Classico Reserva 99

Just some thoughts really, but maybe an alternative to left Bank Bordeaux.

Luckily for you Amy you have a nice brother who has a bunch of the 1999's that have been mentioned above. When Cassidy turns 21 we will pop some of them.

I know for a fact that we had some forum siblings who were psycho a$$es. Only one of the sibs now posts regularly to my knowledge, though. Then there's the brothers from the Newark, NJ area, who have a completely different style of posting from the previously-mentioned siblings.

I've seen the `99 Montelena Estate for just a shade over a Benjamin. So that sounds like it'd be right up your alley, Amy. `99 Insignia is also in that same price as well.
