Actually davidn I think the only way you aquire a taste for this stuff is by burning out your ability to taste.

That's why we see three or four 90+ year old Italien men sitting around a little table outside the "qaint" bar near the ocianside drinking this stuff. There tasters have been gone for years.

I also don't get it. Can't see anything attractive about Grappa.

By the way...TJ is correct about grappa & coffee. As a matter of fact, I have a ton of recipes that includes coffee &/or espresso with all types of alcoholic beverages. Have not had the time to make it @ home though (lack of time). But, supposed to be pretty good (when done right).
