| | for those of you who visit the Napa Valley, Bouchon in Yountville regularly carries the Pinot. Of course, having said that, they are probably out now. | | | |

| | You can see the PNs at auction from time to time - usually $300 and up. During the boom, they went for $400-500. Have found the PN at both Boulevard and Hawthorne Lane in San Francisco - kind of a lucky timing thing - neither place had it for much more than $175 (great restaurant pricing). Come to think of it, Boulevard also had the 97 Maya (just after release) on their private list for around $180, which was delicious both times we tried it (third time they were out). Unfortunately, they wouldnt sell it out the door. | | | |

| | During the boom, the Pinots sold for as much as $800 a bottle. I sold mine at $650 each. | | | |

| Jones, if these wines are so amazing, why would you sell them? I seem to remember that you indicated you'd be unwilling to let ANY of them out of your clutches. But, I see at a certain price point, everything is available, eh?

| | I will sell any wine if the price is right. At the prices people were paying during the boom I had to sell some (to finance other purchases). I regularly sell half my "cult" allocations. | | | |

| | Makes sense, especially if it is a planned flip. I just remember you raving about Marcassin and it seemed unlikely you'd ever let one out of your grasp. | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com | |
