| Once I open a bottle of an LBV Port, how long do I have to drink it?

| I try to go through it in a week or so. Quicker would be better, but I like to be able to stand up.
From extensive experimentation I find that anything more than a week starts to get excessive, with noticeable oxidative effects. | | | |

| I agree with Rieslingfan about a week and the fruit flavors are very mature and fading.

| Even for some big ports a week is about it... but not all.
The Heitz Ink Grade port only goes a week. | |

| | I recently opend an LBV. It was drinking probably at its' best 24 hours after opening. I can't imagine that holding for more than a few days myself. | |
