| | Brent, only if you really like the wine. Most wineries will really stiff you for the vertical so usually I'd pass on them. | | | |

| the one advantage of buying library releases, verticals, etc from wineries is that you know they've been stored right.....they probably have never left the winery

| | Other than learning a little more about the winery and winemaker, I could never see the benefit of a vertical. Since the prices seldom come down to correspond to a bad vintage, it seems like buying wines just to keep a vertical going is not a good investment. Since most of my wines are from a particular vintage, I probably have the most non-vertical collection in the group. | | | |
