| I have SAWS - Severe Acute Winegeek Syndrome.
This is an hilarious (home-hitting) article on the last page of the August 2003 issue of "Wine Enthusiast".
I am enjoying this magazine more and more. I think at times their wine ratings are a little funky but they do talk about some wines that I have not been familiar with. For those interested in QPR the WE's list might be pretty good info.
I very much enjoyed several of the articles this month too. If you don't subscribe to WE I suggest you go out and buy the August issue just to learn about the symptoms of SAWS. I suspect many of you may have this desease and you should read up on it. | | | |

| | When we are invited to a dinner party at a friends, I occasionally have my decanters and wines glasses in the trunk for back-up. My wife will kill me if I bring them out, but I have asked if the host if he needs more. One host had no decanters and 3 stinking small wine glasses (which were dirty), but he said he didn't need any more even though we had 4 bottles of wine for 8 people (most drank out of whisky glasses). The decanter and glass packages should have handles on them. | | | |
