Hey hows it going i was just in Puerto Vallarta fishing *suspected spam link edited out* and I actually caight a 300lb yellow fin tuna now my question is I need to know what is the perfect wine for tuna steaks my wife is quite the wine conasiour but I dont know a thing about wine and mixing them with the perfect foods I would really like to surprise here and her friends with the perfect home cooked yellow fin tuna that I caught and with the perfect wine that I picked out let me know any suggestions price is know object

Well, if you are "reading" spam, then any wine will go, such as the one I'm trying now, the 2001 Hayne Vineyard Zinfandel from Chase.

If you are "eating" spam, then it would be best to stick with something in the same price range, suitably aged, of course. Such as a 1987 Muscadet or a 1973 Zeller Swartzkatz. For true connoisseurs, with unlimited funds, the 1973 Mouton Rothschild should be on the same quality level, and the label sure is purdy.
