| When storing port is it less harmful to store it in a refrigerator where it would normally be to cold, or at room temperature(62 evenings - 85 day)? The fortification is throwing me off from an answer.
I ask because my temp. controlled storage areas are filled to the max after returning from my trip to Napa 2 weeks ago.

| I'd opt for the fridge in the short term. Not just because of the heat but more so because of the temperature variation in your room. That's a wine killer. It causes the volume of liquid to expand and contract and sucks fresh air in to the bottle.
The problem with a fridge (35 degrees?) is that you will almost completely inhibit the aging process of the port. If it has long term potential, you want to get it in to the cellar at some point.
